Our safeguarding culture statement:
We safeguard because we care.
We understand that safety concerns aren’t far-fetched, and they could happen here.
Our safeguarding culture prioritises the well-being and protection of all individuals, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and secure.
We have a learning environment where a learning community is developed, feels empowered, and where safety, wellbeing and growth are key to its achievement.
What is Safeguarding and why is it important?
Safeguarding means protecting someone’s health, wellbeing and human rights allowing them to live free from harm, abuse and neglect.
At the Apprenticeship College, we have a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners and those who access our services. We have a team of Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) who are trained to support you with any safeguarding concern you may have.
