Staying safe
Communities defeat terrorism
We all belong to many different communities, whether that is who will live with, our wider family and friends, our physical location, our work community, the on-line communities we interact with, our social interactions with communities that we may be part of, sometimes just for a short time.
We are all citizens of the communities we find ourselves in as we move through life day to day, and we can all help to keep those communities safe.
The threat of terrorism in the UK is real, but with a little knowledge you can increase your safety and help protect yourself and others in the communities you are part of against a terrorist attack. Trust your instincts and report anything that doesn’t feel right.
Find out how to stay safe when you’re out and about and how to report any suspicious behaviour that could be connected to terrorism.
