Sarah H Gordon
Sarah works for London College of Apprenticeship Training as a Trainer, and has particular expertise in the areas of recruitment, employment law, business development, leadership and management, and equality and inclusion.
Sarah (known as “H” to her friends) left Oxford University with a law degree and started her career as a trainee personnel manager in the retail industry. She then moved into business to business sales, before spending 20 years in the recruitment industry (she was on the board of an SME recruitment business, responsible for training, compliance and all areas of quality management).
A great believer in lifelong learning, she picked up a Diploma in Recruitment Practice and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management along the way, and can regularly be found developing her knowledge and skills – reading countless books, watching videos/webinars, talking to experts and thought leaders, and attending industry events and training sessions.
Supporting other people in learning the skills they need to reach their full potential and giving them the confidence to reach their goals is what gives H the most joy, which is why she made the move into full-time training in 2016.
In her spare time, she can regularly be found acting, singing and/or directing with one of her three local amateur dramatics groups. (Or hogging the microphone at karaoke!)
